15 years ago, Gorillaz released “Demon Days” - the sophomore album that proved Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s virtual band were more than a clever concept. Just as we were about to celebrate its 15 anniversary, Gorillaz unleashed “Song Machine: Season 1 - Strange Timez” - the soundtrack to a web series that saw them collaborate with everyone from Beck and St. Vincent to Elton John and The Cure’s Robert Smith.
